3 Colombians Blend
3 Colombians Blend
The 3 Colombians Blends has won a Silver and 2 Bronze Medals at the Australian International Coffee Awards in 2014, 2016 and 2018 respectively. It consists of a single sourced bean from the Caldas region in Colombia that is roasted 3 different ways. The blend consists of a light, medium and dark roast, each of which brings different characteristics to the blend. The blend itself is a Single Origin Blend.
What you get in the cup is some of the chocolate/cocoa flavours of the dark roast, some of the fruitiness and acidity of the light and the mellowness of the medium roast tie all the beans together.
The Australian International Coffee Awards are run over three days where a team of international judges blind taste all coffees over a three day period. Not knowing what they are drinking the judging panel purely judged the cup that is presented to them.
